Well! Since No-uturns won the 1000 pageviews - good on ya, buddy - months have passed.

Directly after the contest, my marriage disintegrated. In the ensuing months, I (and my dog) have adjusted to life rather nicely. The emotional upheaval of it all reduced my output in everything except the job for which I get paid to nil.

I did manage to figure out what plotline I will use for the requested story! Hopefully, I'll be able to work out some time in which to get it out.
